Berry Cheese Board
Berry and cheese pairing is a winning one because, well, it just is! Strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, as well as any other sort of berry, go well with cheese.
Ingredients Needed For Making This Item
- 250 grams of ricottawhole milk
- 1 Tsp. plus 1 teaspoon divided, honey
- 1/4 Tsp. kosher salt
- 170 grams of sliced or crumbled goat cheese
- 170 grams of sharpsliced white cheddar
- 450 grams of Strawberries
- 170 grams of Raspberries
- Crackers of choice
- Marcona almonds or nuts of choice
- 170 grams of Blueberries
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic glaze
Directions
- Fill a food processor with ricotta.
- Look for a single teaspoon of honey and mix it in.
- Incorporate salt.
- Pulse the food processor for one to two minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until the ingredients are blended into a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Transfer the ricotta cheese mixture to a small serving plate.
- Toss the ricotta cheese with the remaining 1 teaspoon of honey.
- The ricotta cheese spread need to be spread out on a large cheese board.
- Set the cheeses out on a board in the correct sequence.
- The strawberries should be halved and sliced lengthwise. The stem should not be cut off.
- Whole berries, crackers, and strawberries or raspberries may be used to FILL IN the large gaps between the cheeses.
- Fill in the gaps with nuts, cut strawberries and blueberries, and blueberries.
- Serve goat cheese with a balsamic glaze.
- Serve at room temperature.
- If you aren't intending to serve it immediately, loosely wrap it in plastic.
- The placement of components next to other ingredients of a different colour is recommended.
